FocusQuest is a family companion that helps children with ADHD and their caregivers manage daily routines, focus, and schoolwork. We built this app to be supportive and respectful, and that extends to how we handle your information. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: the email and name you provide when you sign up.
- Family and child profiles: names, ages, schedules, and support notes you enter to personalize the experience.
- Activity data: tasks, routines, check-ins, focus sessions, and progress you and your child create while using the app.
- Usage and device data: basic, non-identifying analytics about how the app is used so we can improve it.
How we use it
- To display your routines, tasks, and progress, and to power the AI coaching features.
- To send reminders and summaries you have turned on in your settings.
- To provide customer support and continue improving FocusQuest.
We never sell your information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles of your child.
Sharing
We share information only with trusted service providers that help us run the app (such as hosting, payments, and email delivery), under agreements that limit how they may use it. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of a child.
Children's privacy
FocusQuest is designed for families to use together. A parent or caregiver creates and controls the account and child profiles. Kid Mode is a guided experience with no public sharing. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without a caregiver's involvement.
Data retention & deletion
Your data stays for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings, and we will remove it from our active systems.
Your choices
- Adjust or turn off reminders and sharing in your Family Settings.
- Use the free, ad-supported tier or upgrade to Premium for an ad-free experience.
- Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information.
